Delete your Voktu account
Follow these steps to remove your data, uninstall the app, or request a permanent deletion.
Request account & data deletion
- Use the form on this page or email support@voktu.app with the subject “Delete my Voktu account.”
- Send the request from the same email you used to sign up so we can verify ownership.
- Specify if you need us to delete synced progress across the web app and Android App.
We acknowledge every request within 2 business days and permanently delete confirmed accounts within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Profile details: name, email address, learning preferences.
- Study data: flashcards you created, practice history, streaks, and language settings.
- Any synced pronunciation uploads or saved audio references.
We only retain anonymized analytics and legally required billing or abuse-prevention logs for up to 30 days before purging them.
Delete the app from your device
- Android: Long-press the Voktu icon > tap Uninstall, or open the Play Store listing > tap Uninstall.
- PWA install: In Chrome, open the Voktu tab, select the three-dot menu > Uninstall app.
Removing the app stops all future data collection on that device. Submit the deletion request above to erase existing account data on our servers.
