- Learning content: Words, flashcards, and study progress you create.
- Device basics: Non-identifying logs that help us secure the service.
2. How we use your data
Data stays inside Voktu and is only used to deliver and improve the product.
- Authenticate you and sync your learning materials across devices.
- Generate AI-powered flashcards and track spaced-repetition reviews.
- Monitor service reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
3. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or exchange your data with any third party. The only exceptions are:
- Legal obligations: When Indian courts, regulators, or law enforcement present a lawful request.
- Payment disputes: When card networks or payment processors require evidence to validate a disputed transaction.
Whenever possible, we notify you before responding to a disclosure request.
4. Data retention & deletion
You can delete flashcards or close your account at any time from the settings page.
- We purge deleted content from active systems within 30 days.
- Residual backups automatically expire according to our disaster-recovery schedule.
- Closed accounts are anonymized unless we are required to retain records for fraud, taxation, or legal compliance.
5. Your controls
- Access and update your profile details from the Voktu app.
- Export flashcards or request assistance by emailing support@voktu.app.
- Opt out of marketing messages using the unsubscribe link in any email.
